Hi my name is Reese Fisher! I am enthusiastic about simplifying the complex through the application of psychology to the design of technology.

Education

In January of 2023, I completed my certificate in UI/UX Design. In May of 2020, I graduated from Kansas State University. I received my bachelors in business administration where I majored in management information systems, and completed a certificate in data analytics. I pursued a minor in anthropology that I concluded while studying abroad at Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany.

Who am I

I am enthused about analyzing information and designing the architecture to build wireframes, and designing mockups and prototypes. I am a leader who thrives in a team based environment where collaboration is at the forefront. I value an experience that is accessible for all, that keeps up with creative trends, and that is easy to use. I am a people person who sees the glass half full. I love to network and meet new people. Empathy is very important to me in my design thinking and in living life. Empathy helps me to remain humble and serve others before myself. It is important for me to be apart of something greater than myself. I am a fast worker with great attention to detail.

Passions

I am passionate about traveling, history, sports and games. It is extra exciting when my passions align. I love traveling around the world and immersing myself in different cultures while experiencing new things. I am zealous about history when traveling to historical sites, walking through museums, or even watching documentaries. A few of my favorite memories have been watching soccer on my international travels. My favorite soccer team is Borussia Dortmund, a German team in the Bundesliga. I am big into football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. In my free time, I enjoy playing board games and computer games with my friends, especially games like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride and Risk.

Inspirations

The styles that inspire me most are geometric, modern and minimal designs. I also take inspiration from

mid-century designs and the Bauhaus.

Dreams

One of my life-long dreams is to move back to Europe and work abroad remotely or on-site. I would like to create a design agency someday. I desire to leave the world a better place through my UI/UX design.
