Summary

ExactMeds by RxGenomix can put your unique genetic profile to work in search
for the best medications – and the best healthcare – you can get. Millions of Americans struggle to get the right medications for conditions like depression, anxiety, heart disease, and pain. And every year, more than 1 million people are taken to the emergency room with adverse drug reactions. It’s even one of the leading causes of death. It’s time to do better. ExactMeds by RxGenomix is that solution.

The Problem

The primary concern experienced by RxGenomix regarding their ExactMeds website was the lack of increase in client conversions, with insufficient traction from site viewers. To address this, I identified the need to modify the site's current structure by rearranging the order of what users see. For example, instead of price being the first thing visible, it's crucial to take users on a journey to showcase the value of the product and why purchasing it is essential.

I finished the Site Map, Mockup, and Prototype, and shared them with the client. Unfortunately, the project was put on hold. My next move is to create a functional document and work with developers to implement changes to the site. After that, we'll do a QA check before deploying the changes.

Key Drivers & Deliverables

Site Map

The goal for creating this site map was to visualize the roadmap of ExactMed's present website and move things around to help solve the product's problem.

Mockup

The goal for creating the mockups was to help rearrange the content and create new components, styles and a overall better user experience that is more effective at client conversions.

Prototype

The goal of creating a prototype was to show the functionality of the entire design in action.

Functional Document

The goal for creating a functional document was to put everything from the prototype into writing and to describe how the user experience should be. This document would then be passed off to the developers. It would also be a reference throughout the QA process.
