The Strang Reserve is a rentable venue for weddings, corporate events, bridal and baby showers, graduation parties, chef dining experiences, philanthropic events, class reunions and every celebration in between. This is a stunning & unique event space in Downtown Overland Park which opened in January of 2023. "It features modern, clean lines and an elegant base with features to make the space feel like yours." Specialized with customizable floral walls, flexible bridal lounge spaces, and free parking.

The Problem

As of January 2023 the Strang Reserved opened their doors. As a venue marketing, advertising and brand exposure is key. Build a website is a great first step to reach your audience. Through this website a brand identity was brought to life to help evoke the ambiance and vibe of their venues environment.

The goal for creating the mockups was to help put the styles, components, and brand character

together to provide a visual example to process.

The goal of creating a prototype was to show the functionality of the entire design in action.

Functional Document

The goal for creating a functional document was to put everything from the prototype into writing and to describe how the user experience should be. This document would then be passed off to the developers. It would also be a reference throughout the QA process.
